This is very simple to get, great to use DK item that is vastly superior to BC gear, such as the Honed Voidaxe (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25762).
The two quests that you must complete to get this puppy are:
Hellscream's Champion (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11916) (Horde) and Last Rites (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12019) (Alliance)
Some notes of helpfulness:
To acquire Hellscream's Champion, horde player must finish 3 quest chains:
The Wondrous Bloodspore (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11716), which ends with Trophies of Gammoth (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11722).
Untold Truths (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11614), which ends with Foolish Endeavors (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11705).
The Defense of Warsong Hold (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11596), which ends with The Plains of Nasam (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11652). Please note that Mobu's Pneumatic Tank Transjigamarig (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11643) and Super Strong Metal Plates! (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11644) have to be completed to access The Plains of Nasam quest chain.
For our alliance chaps, Last Rites can be obtained by starting a chain with the quest Finding the Phylactery (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11956). There is some debate if there are any pre-reqs for this quest, as several people have stated that it is possible to acquire it right away. If you are having trouble acquiring the quest, try to do the quest chain that starts with Word on the Street (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11927).
While it may seem that Horde gets the long end of the deal here, it is worth mentioning that all the Horde quests are easily soloable for Death Knights, where as the Alliance counterpart demands a group, as the mob you have to kill is extremely powerful.
