Well which build were you looking at, because I respecced to tanking a few days ago. My old build was a two-hander frost dps. It put it very good numbers, lots of non-melee dmg that can't be negated.

If it is my old build, I've seen it put out 4k dps in OS with full buffs. I was generally always top 5 in total damage done, and often in the top 3. I'm probly gonna go back to it once they make the dual spec option available.

yea it was your old build i meant, if you get a minute try armoring Eemortal (shadowsong).
This guy has some crazy specs and is the only DK that i have come across that can beat me everytime in 25 OS, has most used talent setup is a diseaseless blood/frost.
