Wonderin what gems to use?

Well i am new to 80 i already got Epic Belt from Nexus and some of the other stuff from the list i see, which has been a huge help btw. Anyway what i was wonderin is what kinda gems i should use and if i have the right ones in? Thank you

If you're going for raiding, then I'm aware its

Hit rating > Strenght > Crit Rating

Fill blue gems only in order to get your Meta gem work.

Cool thank you, been waitin for a reply. God i just ran HoL 16 times in 3 days and finally got my shoulders out of there:D Now all i have next left on the to do list is either the pants out of H UK or H Oculus (No One Really Runs on my server) So i will be gettin the Heroic UK ones hopefully doesnt take me 16 times:mad:

There is some nice leg armor at exalted with Wyrmrest Accord iirc, if you have trouble finding a group for heroics.

Well only took me 3 times but got my legs:D I just became exalted with KotEB so time to buy my Death-Injured Sabatons, All i gotta say is this sight has been such a huge help. I even posted it on my Guilds web page for the up and coming DK's in my guild. Thanks a bunch Lich and everyone else who has posted alot of helpful material on here to get my DK to the Destroyer he is. My GL even gave me props the other night for my 2800 dps i held in H OS, I replied Deathknightarmy.com BABY!!! LOL

Stack any of these:

Etched Huge Citrine (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39948)- for mid 70's blues

Perfect Etched HugeCitrine (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41488)- for lvl 80's blues

Etched Monarch Topaz (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40038)- for epic gear & if you're lucky enough to find someone that has the BoE dropped pattern (it's a pretty rare drop).

The to hit is a must, and Str = 2 attack power per point. :)

However, in the case of the monarch topaz, yes the +hit and + str are good, but if you are hit capped, you are better off with a pure +str gem.

Thanks again for replies, but i am way hit capped now with the gear i just recently picked up last night in a 10 man naxx clear where i mopped up the drops, missed out on my T7 leggings but the rest of the night was mine for the taking with some lucky rolls and a very nice guildie who passed me the T7 helm. Maybe tonight i will get lucky enough to get my Shoulders to go along with the helm then i will be a happy camper cuz we are runnin H Naxx!
