This guide is meant to help Death Knights find the best weapons for leveling up. If you are wondering which weapon is best for my level? You have come to the right place. All two handed swords, two handed axes, one handers, etc. are ordered in order of which level you can obtain them. The order and weapons are subject to change based on discussion. Please feel free to give suggestions, this is an evolving guide!

Ingvar's Monolithic Cleaver is actually inferior to Axe of Frozen Death, and is much easier to get and you get a nice gift of Experience on the way. I cannot find a way why most of the people fancy the Monolithic Cleaver.

Maybe just from a graphics perspective... stats wise, Axe of the Frozen Death is better.

I got 68 tonight and a friend took me to get the axe of frozen death, and just "wow", what a difference over the honed voidaxe. Heh, well back to Nagrand and burning crusade. Gonna see how Durn likes it =).

I used the axe from the starting zone till i got the Hellreaver, got the Honed Void Axe after that and went from that to a couple greens and then got the Trident form the muclocs in NE Borean Tundra which was sick. It's like 11 damage less then the Axe of Frozen Death but its faster which seemed to help alot with soloing (I'm a big fan of Unholy Presence with Blood Aura through talents) then i got the Troll Butcherer from Zul'drak which was hella easy to get. Got a 80 palli and an 80 druid to run me to the first troll boss, dropped first time no sweat. So i guess what im getting at is that at 74 you can look at useing the Troll Butcherer from Zul'drak as a good option. At 76 with obliterate glyph, specced blood i have had 3.8k obliterates...

Nice guide. Really helpful for new DK's. I didn't use it as I am level 80, and found this website long after I got 80. The Titansteel Destroyer is my favorite weapon. It stacks up a significant amount of DPS, and gives good hit rating. Definitely a recommended weapon for DPS at level 80.
