Might be a dumb question,
Do the Volorous scourge set and Horoes set work together for the set bonus?

If so, Do the Tank set and the DPS set pieces work together for the set bonus?

lol and if they do, the tank 2 piece set has a bonus 10% crit to scourge strike yet the dps set is 5% to scourge strike,
If the 2 sets can work together for the bonus, which bonus would it work on?
the 5% or 10% :D

Is it just me, or are the DPS set's bonuses kind of one sided? I mean I would love to see it give me a bonus for something besides Obliterate and Scourge Strike. Personally I think Heart Strike is much better than Scourge.

Yea Snazzy i m with ya on that.
Seems to strange that it focus the tanking set on Unholy, i know all specs tank but frost seems to be a much stronger MT setup imo.

Finally got my chest!:D heres the link Rams http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39617 hitting 3008ap unbuffed now (unholy) was getting up to 5-5.8 dps in 25 man OS the other night,

i am wearing my tanking 7.5 pants at the moment as they seem better than the pants from H UK, crits already 29% so wasnt worried about losing a little and gaining defense. still cant wait till my 7.5 crit pants drop

Thing is, the tanking set gives you a bonus to IBF, which all tanks use regardless, and Plague Strike, a disease, which again everyone uses. On the DPS side, they give you Obliterate which means you have to spec into Frost to keep from losing your diseases everytime, or Scourge Strike, which is Unholy only. Seems like Blood loses out here.

Well the reason the dps set has only scourge strike and oblit is because all specs are usually either using scourge strike or oblit for pve, even there is alot of hybrid builds that use neither

Well Obliterate maybe, but to get the ability to use Scourge Strike you have to invest 40 talent points into Unholy. Another 15 in Frost if you want Obliterate to keep your diseases. Assuming you put Obliterate on the end of your rotation (when the diseases are almost done) that is still 40 points in Unholy to get SS.

edit* Correction it takes 41 talent point to get SS because you have use one on the talent itself. This effectively makes you Unholy spec, with about 30 points left to place in Blood or Frost if you are going with the Hybrid route.
