:confused:Have been out of the game for about 30 days now. (work related) And this weekend ill be getting back into it. How bad did this last patch drop the DPS for Blood Spec. I've been stuck pulling just around 2k for the last few months. Is unholy a better way to go? I saw a post somewhere on here a few days ago about there being another de-buffing (nerfing) if you want to call it that about Blood DPS going down again. If this has already been posted somewhere else please reply and link for me please.

I did not see a huge drop in DPS in blood spec since the latest patch. I did notice a drop yes, but I still pull on average 4.5k dps on raids

The nerf doesn't effect your single-target DPS at all, really. And you get a nice buff with the change to Subversion.

My DPS set could easily be obtained by anyone running Naxx and doing heroics (save the weapon--Bryntroll), and I'm able to pump out 6.8k single-target when the encounter demands I switch off from tanking.

Focus on getting 4-piece T9. Obtain the crafted 245 chest and bracers--with Triumph badges easy to get, you can afford them. Run H PoS until you can get the 2handed Axe from there. Run H FoS to get the trinket, which is close to being as good as Grim Toll (and better if you have the +hit). Done all that? Good.

Now go run ToC-10/25 to replace any low-level gear you still have, and you're fine to DPS ICC.
